CJ's City Membership classes are designed to integrate you into our community, while leading you towards a greater commitment to our Lord Jesus. We have arranged the courses by number. As you become integrated into CJ's City, we encourage you to further your knowledge by signing up for the different membership classes we have available.

Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. The Alpha course consists of a series of talks, looking at topics such as 'Who is Jesus?' and 'Why and how do I pray?', with the option of a weekend away. We meet for supper and each talk is followed by discussion in small groups.


'40 Days of Purpose' is a powerful life-changing journey for local churches. It is a spiritual growth emphasis that encourages every member of the congregation to participate in deepening their relationship with God through worship, small group studies and through daily personal readings. Over 300 churches in the UK have completed and benefited from 40 Days of Purpose.

Network is a dynamic program to help Christians understand who God has uniquely made them to be, and mobilize them to a place of meaningful service in the local church.
